How does the ACR Beast leaderboard work?

The Beast is ACR's weekly cash game leaderboard with $150K+ in prizes. Points are based on rake contributed at your stake level. Each stake has a separate leaderboard, so you compete against players at your stakes, not all players. Runs Monday through Sunday.

How many hands do I need to win a poker leaderboard?

It depends on the leaderboard, your stakes, and how many tables you play. At NL50 on ACR, top 10 Beast finishers typically play 30,000-50,000 hands per week across 4-6 tables. At lower stakes, the competition is less intense. Use our calculator for precise estimates.

Is grinding leaderboards profitable?

Leaderboards add 5-15% effective rakeback on top of your regular rakeback deal. Combined with ACR's 27% fixed rakeback, a top-20 Beast finish can push your effective return above 40%. The key is whether the extra volume is +EV for your specific win rate and game type.
